Jason Bay is the man! The guy has 37 RBIs so far this season and is on pace to drive in 170! He shows up to play every day, doesn’t do stupid shit like Manny, doesn’t take steroids like Manny (although, with baseball these days, you can’t prove anyone didn’t take them, but judging by the Pittsburgh Pirates record the last 10 years, I’d say that locker room was clean) and plays much better defense than Manny. He’s also about $15 million less than Manny. I don’t give Theo Epstein hand jobs like many people living and covering the Red Sox, but I got to tip my cap to him; great move. … Manny was one of the last players I ever thought would get busted for roids. I thought he was too stupid to know how to do it. … How ironic would it be if the Pirates, who have been the worst team ever for the past 10 years, only sucked because no one on the team was taking juice? … I’m in the cellar of the Decent Community Fantasy Baseball League, yet I have Alex Rodriguez, Adam Dunn, Carl Crawford, Miguel Cabrera, Alfonso Soriano, Chase Utley, Johan Santana and Jonathan Broxton.
